1915 (Tuesday)

Eastern Front  ▶  Russians storm Skempe (north-west of Poland).  ▶  Continued desperate fighting on the Ravka near Bolimov.
Southern Front Austrians repulsed by Montenegrins in Herzegovina.
Asiatic and Egyptian Theatres Aden protectorate invaded by Turkish forces.
Naval and Overseas Operations Turkish advance-guards reach the Suez Canal (see 3 and 26 January).
Political  ▶  German Loan of £3,000,000 to Bulgaria.  ▶  Entente communication to Greek, Serbian and Montenegrin Governments deprecating their intervention in Albania (see 26 June).
