1 February Zeppelin raid.
11 February French troops arrive at; measures taken to protect.
March Serbian troops arrive.
27 March Air raid.
7 April Bulgarians and Germans bombard the lines.
30 April Hostilities resumed to the north.
5 May Zeppelin is destroyed by the Allied fleet.
3 June Allied troops occupy the Government bureaux.
15 June Unusual artillery activity.
30 July Russian troops land.
10 August Allied offensive begins (v. Macedonia).
11 August Italian troops land.
30 August Venizelist revolution, Committee of National Defence is formed.

Notes

  1. The Triumvirate: Eleftherios Venizelos, Admiral Pavlos Kountouriotis and General Panagiotis Danglis agreed to form a provisional government and on 9 October they moved to Salonika and assumed command of the National Defence to oversee the Greek participation in the allied war effort.
