Chronological events that took place in Soissons.
- 1914
- 1 September – The town is Bombarded and taken by the Germans.
- 12 September – Evacuated by the Germans.
- 13 September – Allies recover the town and force the passage of the River Aisne.
- 15 September – The town is shelled.
- 1915
- 8 January – The French take Hill 132.
- 9-11 January – Further fighting at Hill 132.
- 12 & 13 January – The Germans retake Hill 132.
- 13 & 14 January – French defeat east of the town.
- 15 & 17 January – The Germans are checked (stopped).
- 29 January – Germans fail to cross the River Aisne.
- 28 February, 23 March, 19 & 27 July – The town is bombarded.
