1915
1 January | Russians wipe out the Turks at Sarikamish. | |
3 January | Turks are driven out of Ardahan. | |
17 January | Another Russian victory at Kara Urgan | |
January | Rout of Turkish force. | |
April and May | 500,000 Armenians massacred by the Turks. | |
Beginning of May | Russian victory at Dilman (Lake Urmia). | |
5 August | Minor Russian successes. | |
September | Turks prepare again. | Grand Duke Nicholas takes command. |
10–12 October | Fighting in the coastal region, Turks are repulsed. |
