Template documentation

This template is for linking to German ship pages with the specific prefix SMS (Seiner Majestät Schiff) – English: His Majesty's Ship.
The only parameter is the vessel's name {{SMS|vessel name}}. The name will be italicised, the prefix will not.
For linking any vessel with a hull number, pennant number, or launch year, see {{Ship}}.
