This is a documentation subpage for Template:RMS.

In most cases it contains usage information, example, categories and other content that is not part of the original template page.

This is for linking to British ship pages with the specific prefix RMS (Royal Mail Ship).
The only parameter is the vessel's name {{RMS|vessel name}}. The name will italicised, the prefix will not.
For linking any vessel with a hull number, pennant number, or launch year, see {{Ship}}.
