The following timeline provides a simple chronological listing of events relating to Indian Expeditionary Force.

1914

9 September	Despatch of 70,000 troops announced.
26 September	Lands in France.
20 October	Arrives at the front.
7 December	Concentration complete.
18-23 December	Heavily engaged around Givenchy.
