Cruiser

Cruiser: A term applied to war vessels built primarily for speed. They are divided into various classes and are either protected or unprotected. A battle cruiser is a fast boat whose armament is only sliglitly inferior to those of the strongest battleships. [1] See also Merchant Cruisers.
