Buck: (Hind.–Bâk). Exaggeration. Too full of talk, for example, "Shut up there, not so much of your buck." Originally old army and to some extent general slang for tall talk or bragging. A U.S. army term for a Private, a smart sldier–A Buck Private. [1]
