Aggie

From The Great War 1914-1918

An Aggie was formerly a familiar name among bluejackets for the late Dame Agnes Weston, the foundess of the Seamans' Temperance Hostels at the naval ports. Also the familiar nickname of HMS Agamemnon.[1]
