The following timeline provides a simple chronological listing of events relating to Wilhelm II, German Emperor.
1914
| 6 July | Leaves Kiel for Northern cruise. |
| 26 July | Returns from cruise. |
| 7 August | Issues proclamation. |
| 19 August | Alleged message re British Army. |
| 1 November | Adorns himself with the Iron Cross. |
| 5 November | Removed from the British Navy List. |
