This is a documentation subpage for Template:Anchor.
In most cases it contains usage information, example, categories and other content that is not part of the original template page.
Usage
Used to create an anchor point in text that allows for wikilinks.
{{anchor|point}} creates the anchor named point. This can then be linked to from the same or another page using a link like this: [[Page#point]]. This template does not create visible text: the anchor will be invisible to the reader. For other types of anchor points, see the anchor documentation page on Wikisource
Multiple anchors
Anchor can carry 20 variables
{{anchor|point1|point2|point3|...|point20}}
Thus, this anchor is reachable by any of the links, for example: [[Page#point1]], [[Page#point2]], etc.
