Chronological events

1914

  • 10 Aug - Austrian First Army, under Viktor Dankl, enters Poland and advances towards Lyublin and Kyeltsi.
  • 22 Aug - Evacuated by the Russians.
  • 06 Sep - Re-occupied by the Russians.
  • 06 Oct - Again re-entered by the Russians.
  • 03 Nov - Again recovered by the Russians.
  • 20 Nov - Austrians defeated near Kyeltsi.
