From The Great War 1914-1918

Geddesburg: The army name on the Western Front for the French town Montreuil in 1916 when Sir Eric Geddes established his headquarters there as Director General of Transportation, taking over 1,000 clerks and a fleet of 77 motor cars for the use of his staff.[1]
