Buzzer

Buzzer: A Naval Wireless Signalman. A Member of the Royal Engineers Signal Section, known collectively as "The Buzzers," from the name of the original army standard-type "Buzzer Telephone Machine," known as the Buzzer. It was superceded in 1916 by the "Fullerphone" from the name of the officer, it's inventor.[1]
