Southern Front  ▶  Dardanelles Forts bombarded by British and French fleets.  ▶  Cattaro bombarded by Montenegrins.
Asiatic and Egyptian Theatres  ▶  Armenia: Bayazid occupied by Russians.  ▶  Arabia: Akaba on Red Sea bombarded and occupied by British.
Naval and Overseas Operations  ▶  Yarmouth bombarded by German cruisers.  ▶  British submarine HMS D5 sunk by a mine in fight with cruisers.
Political  ▶  Serbia breaks off relations with Turkey.  ▶  Bulgaria declares intention to remain neutral.
